class Arthroplasty sales executives to further complement our existing

tested implants, but this will be backed up and supported with our highly
trained and dedicated sales and customer services teams.
At Zimmer South Africa we are proud to offer our surgeons the complete
continuum of care ranging from hip resurfacing right up to the most complex
tumour surgery in hip Arthroplasty and from High Tibial Osteotomies right up
to the most complex tumour surgery in knee Arthroplasty.
Our global sales for 2009 were approximately $4.1 billion. Our goal
is to invest almost 6% of sales every year in research and development to
add new and better solutions and technologies. We currently offer more than
100,000 orthopaedic products, providing surgeons a wide array of 
treatment options to enhance their patient's quality of life. Further
demonstrating our global footprint, our products are available in more than
100 countries. Our size and scope is reflected in more than 1 million square
