  • 12 different sizes are offered in a size increment of 2mm. The wide range of sizes offers an optimal fit.
  • The acetabular component is designed to be implanted without cement. The femoral component is designed to be inserted with cement.
  • The actual diameter of the acetabular component is 2 mm greater than its nominal diameter, e. g. last used reamer -- 54 mm, trial implant 54 mm (the trial implant is line to line with the reamer), acetabular implant size 54/N. This will result in a 2 mm hemispherical press-fit.
  • Large diameter modular Durom Metasul femoral heads for use with the range of Centerpulse stems are available and must be used in conjunction with the Durom acetabular components.
